Orange season in Greece begins around the end of October or early November.
Variety progression through the season is Navalinas, Navel, Lane Late, Salustianas, Valencia Late, and lasts until July.
Main production areas are Argos, Ileia, Skala, Agrinio and Arta.
Mandarines
Mandarines begin with Clementines in November, followed by Nova and then finally ortanique.
Main production areas are Argos, Ileia, Skala, Agrinio and Arta.
